Maria J. Amores-Aguera, Ph.D.
Dr. Amores-Aguera received her Licenciatura en Filología Hispánica from the Universidad de Sevilla and her Ph.D. in Spanish Applied Linguistics with a concentration in Second Language Acquisition from the Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Amores-Aguera has published on pedagogical issues related to the teaching of writing and to the professional development of graduate teaching assistants. Her articles have appeared in Dimension, The Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Review, and Foreign Language Annals. Dr. Amores-Aguera is the lead author of the introductory Spanish textbook Experience Spanish, published by McGraw-Hill.
