Located in the World Languages Tutoring Center room 330 of Hodges Hall, the Language Support Center provides face-to-face and online tutoring sessions for students of world languages.
- Tutoring sessions are 30 minutes each.
- Drop-in tutoring is available for class levels 101-204.
- Tutoring by appointment is also available during the fall semester.
How to Make an Appointment
Click on Navigate in your portal.wvu.edu links to register and request a tutor for your language.
Click "Schedule a General Event" in the menu box on the right of the Navigate page. Fill-in the form that will pop-up on the left of the screen.
- Care Unit = Tutoring
- Location = WLLL Language Support Center
- Service = Course-Based Tutoring
- Course = Type in the name of the language course you want help with. Example: RUSS 102
- Select an Organizer = Choose the tutor available for the language.
- Choose a Time to Meet = Choose the date and time the tutor is available.
- An appointment will be scheduled in your calendar and the tutor's calendar.

Face-to-Face Tutoring Center will be operating in room 330 Hodges Hall.
Tutors will be available for Virtual, Face-to-Face., and Drop-In sessions for the following languages.
- Arabic: MW 10-2:00, T 3-4:00, Virtual M 2-3:00 and TWR 6-7:00
- Chinese: M 1-7:15, T 10-2:00, 2:30-8:30, W 1-2:00, 3-8:30, R 10-12:00, 2:30-7:15, F 1-6:00
- French: MWF 1-3:00, Virtual TR 5-6:00
- German: M Virtual 4-5:30 6-7:00, W 1-4:00, R 1-2:30 4-6:00
- Italian: M 9-11:00 1:30-2:30 4-5:00, TR Virtual 5-6:00, W 9-11:00 1:30-2:30, F 1:30-2:30
- Japanese: M 1:30-2:30, 3:30-4:30, T 10-12:00, Virtual 5-6:00, W 11-12:00, 1;30-2:30, 3:30-4:30, R 10-12:00
