Sandra Stjepanovic, Ph.D.

Associate Chair of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Linguistics

Dr. Stjepanovic completed a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Sarajevo, an M.A. degree in Linguistics at West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. degree in Linguistics at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Stjepanovic is an Associate Professor of Linguistics and the Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department. She teaches courses in Syntax, Psycholinguistics, Language Typology, and introductory Linguistics. Her research focuses on syntactic theory, comparative syntax and the syntax of Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian.
