Xiangying Jiang, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of TESOL

Dr. Jiang completed her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics at Northern Arizona University.

Dr. Jiang's research focuses on second language reading and literacy, including topics on comprehension strategies, discourse structure, reading fluency, vocabulary, and the influence of first language literacy on second language literacy development. Dr. Jiang teaches graduate-level courses in Research Methods, Language Assessment, ESL Theory, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, and Second Language Literacy. She also teaches an undergraduate course in Introduction to Language.
