Italian

This four week Faculty-Led summer program is located in Viareggio, a famous seaside resort on the northern coast of Tuscany. The students earn 6 credits for two courses, one in Italian and one in History. Students visit several locations such as Firenze, Siena, Lucca and Pisa.

In Viareggio, students are hosted in a hotel close to the beach and to public transportation. The hotel provides them with breakfast and dinner.

Students who have completed two semesters of college-level Italian (or their equivalent) are eligible for participation in this program.

The courses offered during the summer program may be applied toward the minor and the major in Italian Studies.
