Ahmed Fakhri, Ph.D.
Dr. Ahmed Fakhri is professor of linguistics and TESOL. He currently teaches Introduction to Linguistics, ESL Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, and Second Language Writing.
His previous research includes studies in applied linguistics and second language acquisition involving English, French, and Arabic. His current research interests are in the areas of discourse analysis, genre analysis, and language and the law.
Before coming to West Virginia University, Dr. Fakhri taught at the University of Toledo department of English where he served as the coordinator of the ESL composition program. He also taught English and linguistics at Mohamed V University in Rabat, Morocco.
